Dr. FEDDI El Mustapha is a full professor at ENSAM, Mohammed V University in Rabat and an affiliated professor at the UM6P Institute of Applied Physics. He obtained his PhD in theoretical physics of semiconductors from Loraine University in 1987. From 1997 to 2005, Dr. FEDDI leads the physics department at Ecole Normale Superieure in Tetouan, Morocco. Then, he leads a research group at ENSET, Rabat (2012-2016). He was also managing research project in the Institute of Materials Science in the University of Valencia in Spain (2005-2012). He has also been an active member of the PHC-Maghreb project with University of Marseille, France from 2013 to 2017. He was as visiting research fellow at the Lorraine University in Metz between 1987 to 2020. He was a member of the organizational committee for numerous conferences. He is now a member of the editorial board of the journal “Optical and Quantum electronics, Springer”. He is an expert evaluator for numerous scientific journals for Elsevier, IOP, Springer Verlag, etc… He has been an expert evaluator for CNRST projects since 2020. He has published numerous papers in indexed prestigious scientific journals (more than 120 indexed papers), and he is currently working on different research projects in collaboration with many research teams all over the world. His research interests include various aspects related to theoretical study of the optoelectronic properties of core/shell semiconductor quantum dots, for their application in various fields (solar cells, medical imaging, optoelectronic devices, and so on and so forth). His other research interests also include Linear and non-linear optical properties associated with exciton and impurity bound exciton transitions, 2D materials and their applications, and the influence of electric and magnetic fields on the optical properties of semiconductor nanostructures.
